Olympic Chess 2014 TV-Studio

 

Designing a studio for TV is very different from designing a space, it´s all about how it looks in the square box rather than the entire room. I worked closely with the organizers of the event and the advertising agency to ensure that initial brand identity of Chess 2014 stayed true to it self.

It was important to promote Tromsø as a destination and a backlit image of Tromsø was one of the main elements of the studio. To highlight the arctic location of Tromsø we used a lot of white and blue shades in the feature elements.

The TV image exposed to thousands of chess enthusiasts displayed Tromsoe and the Olympics in a delicate and professional manner.
